2. Select the correct base

MaiFa publishes a 600 x 220 x 150 mm, 25 kg blow-moulded concrete-filled base and a 560 x 245 x 130 mm, 32 kg concrete-filled alternative. It also lists plastic, iron-plate and rubber base categories. These options should not be combined into a single generic specification.

For a replacement purchase, measure the existing panel leg or frame outside diameter, base holes and centre spacing. Confirm whether the base is supplied filled, its finished mass tolerance, lifting/handling expectations, colour, packaging and compatibility with the selected stay. If the site uses water-filled rather than concrete-filled bases, identify that configuration separately.

3. Separate panel clamps from brace clamps

MaiFa's 2.1 m x 2.4 m page describes heavy-duty 4 mm thick steel clamps for joining panels and attaching support stays. The quotation should state whether one clamp design performs both functions or whether separate parts are supplied. Record the formed opening, plate thickness, bolt/nut and corrosion protection.

Count panel-to-panel joints from the actual layout.
Count brace connection points from the approved stay drawing.
Add a clearly stated spare quantity for lost or damaged clamps and bolts.
Pack clamp sets so bolts, nuts and washers remain together.
Label cartons with the same part number used on the drawing and packing list.

4. Order a stay as an assembly

One MaiFa table describes a complete brace set as one brace, two bases and two clamps. Another page says each stay requires three clamps and three plastic feet. Because the public pages do not define one universal assembly, the replacement order must reference the selected drawing and list every component. The drawing should also show the panel connection height and base orientation.

The number and location of stays remain site-dependent. Give the supplier the fence line, corners, gates, exposure, ground and screening. Replacement parts restore a known system; they do not replace a site stability review when the layout or wind area changes.
