The 6 ft x 9.5 ft size is a common commercial search for Canada-style temporary fence panels, but the outside dimensions alone do not define the product. Wire, mesh, frame tube, rail tube, feet, couplers, coating, gates and packing must be stated before supplier quotations can be compared.
MaiFa Fence's current product table lists 4 ft, 6 ft and 8 ft heights with a 9.5 ft width, 3.0/3.5/4.0 mm wire, 50 x 100 mm welded mesh, square-tube frame and rail options, top clips and base plates. Buyers should choose from these options and confirm the final drawing.
Specification rule: write the finished outside panel size and tolerance. MaiFa's category page also shows other commercial sizes, so a product title or photo is not a substitute for an approved drawing.

2. Add missing tube-wall and tolerance information
MaiFa's product table lists tube outside sections but does not state their wall thickness. The RFQ should therefore request frame and horizontal-rail wall thickness separately. Also define panel squareness, straightness, finished outside dimensions, weld coverage and how exposed cut or welded areas are protected after fabrication.
If the panels must integrate with an existing rental fleet, supply measured coupler and foot interfaces, photos or a reference sample. Small differences in frame size, corner construction or foot socket location can prevent interchangeability even when both products are marketed as 6 x 9.5 ft.
3. Specify flat feet and P-shaped top couplers
MaiFa describes Canada-style panels as using plate-type feet and a P-shaped top coupler; its table calls them base plates and top clips. The quotation should connect these terms to a drawing. For the foot, state plate length/width/thickness, sockets, hole pattern, welds, mass and finish. For the coupler, state formed dimensions, material thickness, bolt/nut and finish.
- Itemise one installed quantity and one buyer-approved spare quantity.
- Confirm whether feet and couplers are included in the panel set or priced separately.
- Keep bolt, nut and washer sets together in labelled cartons.
- State whether gate wheels or converted-panel gate hardware are included.
4. Define gates, screening and supports
MaiFa says small gates can be customised. State the clear opening, overall frame, infill, hinges, latch, wheel/support and connection to adjacent panels. If privacy screen or printed mesh will be attached, disclose its coverage because it changes wind resistance. The site team should verify the actual support arrangement for the layout and exposure.
